Recently, MIM member Akbaruddin Owaisi made very controversial remarks against great leaders like PV Narasimha Rao and NT Rama Rao. The TRS, who is an ally to the MIM, has not even responded to any of these comments, and not even condemned them.
The BJP members took great offense to these remarks, and have protested in front of PV ghat and NTR ghat. BJP Telangana President Bandi Sanjay said that there would be severe consequences if the TRS did not take any action against Akbaruddin, and if anything were to happen to the PV and NTR ghats located around Hussain Sagar.
Bandi Sanjay said both PV and NTR laid foundations to, and are the pride of all the Telugu people around the world. Sanjay added that these people are to be respected with the utmost devotion, and if the slightest harm were to be done to the memories of any one of these people, it would cost greatly.
Sanjay went on to question why KTR was keeping quiet on the matter, and reminded KTR that he got his name from NT Ramarao himself, and that it is KTR’s minimum responsiblity to honor the legend.
