After the formation of Telangana as a separate state, there was no other party that gave a considerable competition to TRS in the state.
Even in the assembly polls of TS, the TRS made it exceptionally big, which is what made the TDP stay away from the Lok Sabha elections in the state. Thus, it was anticipated that TRS is not even going to have any considerable opposition in Telangana for Lok Sabha polls.
But BJP, which had to face an insulting debacle in assembly elections in Telangana, shockingly seems to pick up well in Lok Sabha elections. In the initial rounds of counting, BJP is leading in 5 Lok Sabha seats in Telangana.
Congress at least has a chance to claim the credit of giving Telangana, but what one is confused with is, why are Telangana people back of BJP, which has done nothing much to the state. Is it a sign that the Telangana people are fed up with TRS and are willing to get a change?
However, it should be seen, whether the BJP continues to lead and gain a good number of Lok Sabha seats, by the final round of counting.
