Popular producer-actor Allu Aravind is celebrating his 73rd birthday today (January 10). As the veteran producer turned a year older today, several celebs and fans of the Allu family have been sending wishes to him on his special day.
Got introduced into the Telugu film industry as the son of late actor Allu Rama Lingaiah, Aravind has made a name for himself as one of the most successful producers in Tollywood. He has been delivering hits consistently for the last several years under the Geeta Arts banner.
Besides making films, the star filmmaker has also extended his empire into others areas like sports. It is said that Aravind co-owns the Indian Super League club Kerala Blasters FC. Understanding the craze for OTT platforms, the father of Icon star Allu Arjun launched his own digital streaming platform ‘Aha’, which received a great response from Telugu movie lovers. Not many know that the ace movie maker has tried his luck in many ventures and turned out successful using his creative ideas. He took several bold decisions in his career, which made him one of the strong pillars of the Telugu film industry.
Speaking about his family, Aravind has three sons – Allu Venkatesh, Allu Arjun, and Allu Sirish. He is the maternal uncle of Ram Charan and brother-in-law of Chiranjeevi.
