Bigg Boss Season 6, Day 72 – One housemate gets immunity

Continuing after the nominations procedure from the previous day, Keerthi and Sri Satya had a huge disagreement, where Satya even imitated Keerthi, which upset the latter very much. Even though Satya apologized to her later on, it didn’t seem or sound to be very genuine.

On the 72nd day, Srihan and Revanth had a huge misunderstanding, which surprised the rest of the housemates. Bigg Boss congratulated the ten housemates for being the top ten contenders of this season. Bigg Boss then gave those in nominations the opportunity to get immunity from nominations this week, for a price. Every housemate in the nominations had to quote a prize for which they would buy their immunity, on the cheques provided by Bigg Boss. Whoever quotes the highest amount gets immunity for this week. The rules for this task are that the minimum amount should be 1 Lakh, and the maximum amount can be 5 Lakhs. Also, if everyone decides that they do not need immunity, then 5 Lakhs would be deducted from the final prize money, which is 50 Lakhs. The most interesting part of the task was when Bigg Boss also said that if two members quoted the same amount, then their proposal would be rejected, and the next highest quotation would be taken into consideration. Apart from that, the housemates were told not to discuss their amount with the others, which can result in them being disqualified.

Srihan and Adi Reddy quoted Rs. 1 Lakh each, which meant that their quote got rejected. Keerthi and Revanth each quoted 4,99,999, which meant that their quotes were also rejected. Sri Satya also quoted 4,99,999, but she was disqualified by Bigg Boss because she discussed about her amount in code language. Marina and Inaya quoted 4,99,998, which also meant that their quotes got rejected. Finally, Rohit quoted 2,51,001 and Raj quoted 4,99,700, making Raj the final winner, thus getting immunity for this week. This meant that the remaining members who are nominated for this week are Sri Satya, Keerthi, Revanth, Adi Reddy, Srihan, Inaya, Marina, and Rohit. The final prize money came down to 45,00,300.

Bigg Boss then announced that here on, the housemates would be given various challenges every day, which, if the housemates fail to complete successfully, the amount from the prize money would further be deducted. Upon successful completion of the tasks, though, the amount would remain the same. The first task that Bigg Boss gave was to run between wickets and make a century within the given period of time. This was a two-people task, and Revanth and Rohit took part in the challenge. The two managed to make 82 runs, but since they failed to make a century, 1 lakh was cut from the remaining prize money.

Toward the end of the day, Bigg Boss asked every housemate to share with the others what problems they had to face because of the lack of money, and why the prize money of Bigg Boss is important to them. Faima and Adi Reddy said that they want to build a house of their own with the prize money. Sri Satya said that she wants to build her own house as well, and also be able to provide for her mother’s treatment. Keerthi said that she would donate a lot of money towards the education of children and that she would use the rest to set up an orphanage.
