Bollywood actress Bhumi Pednekar is always vocal about nature and going green. She often reckons sustainability to be the crucial step in climate protection. The actor also as a climate warrior has promoted about ecological balance and been motivating everyone to say no to plastic.
She is in collaboration with the initiative called Young Earth Champions, a nationwide contest to inspire climate-conscious youngsters.
Currently as the actor is involved in filming of ‘Badhaai Do’ opposite Rajkummar Rao and other crew in Dehradun, she made sure that the film unit follows a no-plastic policy on the sets.
The actress shared with a news agency that she follows this zero-waste policy and always make it a point to keep the sets and surroundings tidy. Bhumi was quite elated and appreciated her team for showing respect to Mother Nature by saying no to plastic and wastage.
“These are productive steps because the kind of garbage that is produced on a film-set is sizable. This is a conversation I like to have with most of my teams” she added.
