Former AP minister Bhuma Akhila Priya, who was arrested in the kidnapping case, has been spotted in Secunderabad court. Recently, Akhilapriya’s bail petition was heard. Akhilapriya’s counsel told the court that the petitioner was currently pregnant. She was asked to be granted bail as she needed medical attention. He also told the court that the petitioner will surrender the passport without going abroad.
People from the other side said that Akhilapriya is a politician and may influence witnesses and should not be granted bail. After hearing the arguments of both the parties, the judge dismissed Akhilapriya’s bail petition. The court ordered that she will be remanded in custody pending trial until Jan 13th. However, the judge said she can speak with her lawyer during the trial. The judge instructed the officers not to be negligent in providing medical assistance for her.
