2019 is the best Summer for Tollywood so far!

Generally, the big films get queued in the Summer, but this time, there is just one big film called Maharshi from Tollywood, which is yet to be released, and the rest others are small ones.

RGV’s Lakshmi’s NTR grandly began the Summer with a super success. The film went on to be a huge successful one and even registered good revenue numbers, which the RGV films are away from, since long.

Then came Naga Chaitanya’s Majili and showered the love and romance throughout, and also filled with the nostalgic moments. The film has received a decent opening and went on to become a super hit later. Being the first film of the real life couple- Naga Chaitanya and Samantha, after the marriage, the film has got the much needed hype, even before the release and helped for the successful run later.

Sai Dharam Tej who is away from the success, for quite some time, has finally bounced back with a decent hit in the form of Chitralahari. The film showcased a middle-class guy who finds it tough to achieve his dreams. The point was found relatable by the youth audience and thus the film secured a decent success at the box office.

Among all the releases in Summer this year till date, Jersey emerged as the blockbuster. Right from the first show itself, the film has garnered a massive positive response, which helped to achieve the never before revenues for the film. “Malli Rava” fame Gowtham Thinnanuri who was identified for handling sensitive emotions, came up with the raw emotional film in the form of Jersey and it thus received a humongous response among the audiences.

Having seeing all the successful films on a row, it seems, 2019 is the best Summer in the recent years for Tollywood.

Sita, Arjun Suravaram, Maharshi and Dear Comrade are the other notable releases of this Summer. It should be seen whether any of the four upcoming releases would emerge as the blockbuster and surpass Jersey.
