Fans of Megastar Chiranjeevi are desperately waiting to watch him on the big screens as he is coming with ‘God Father’ this Dasara season. All the arrangements for the grand release have been made in India. However, it appears like the USA distributors of God Father have not handled the arrangements properly and left the fans in confusion.
The distribution company, which also presented films like Pushpa, Bheemla Nayak, etc, is distributing GodFather in the United States. As per reports from the US, the distributors failed to secure 4 PM EST premier shows in several locations. Many locations still have shows starting at 6:30 EST. We also found that the advanced bookings were also not open in many theatres until 2 days before the release date. Hence, this resulted in very poor advance bookings for God Father.
By the time we are publishing the article, the movie registered $100K from advance bookings. Needless to say, this number is very less for a big star like Chiranjeevi. However, it remains to be seen whether there will be a rise in bookings as still a day left for the release.
