Nandamuri Balakrishna will next be seen in Akhanda, an out and out commercial potboiler helmed by Boyapati. The film marks the third collaboration of Balakrishna and Boyapati Sreenu who previously delivered two blockbusters namely Simha and Legend.
Interestingly enough, Balakrishna who usually charges Rs 10 crores per project is said to have received only Rs 7 crores for Akhanda.
The producers are spending close to Rs 70 crores on the project and they decided to cap the remunerations of Balakrishna, Boyapati, and the remaining cast and crew in order to cut down the non-production cost. That is the reason why Balakrishna agreed to charge Rs 7 crores remuneration.
It is said that the Nandamuri hero might take home a share in the profits if the film puts up an exceedingly good show at the box office.
