The makers of Prabhas’s upcoming film ‘Radhe Shyam’ have stated that around 70% of the shoot has been completed already. The remaining portion will be canned once the intensity of Covid-19 pandemic goes down.
The first look poster of ‘Radhe Shyam’ which was released last week confirmed that the film is gearing up for a theatrical release in 2021.
Apparently, Prabhas is interested in locking Baahubali 2’s release date, April 28th for ‘Radhe Shyam’. ‘Baahubali 2’ is the biggest hit at Indian box office and stands as the pride of Indian cinema. Prabhas attained nation-wide stardom with the Rajamouli directorial and it is needless to say that April 28th will always be a date to remember for him.
Also, releasing ‘Radhe Shyam’ on ‘Baahubali 2’s date will add some extra buzz and anticipation to the film.
If ‘Radhe Shyam’ hits the floors soon and the remaining portion is canned as per schedule, the film might be ready for release on April 28th.
But reports claim that India will be witnessing multiple Covid-19 peaks in the months to come and that will show a direct effect on the film shootings and releases. It would be interesting to see if ‘Radhe Shyam’ unit can race against time and lock April 28th as its release date.
