The advent of social media gave scope for many unwanted apps on the internet that encourages adult content and most importantly dating apps have become common these days. These apps are uploading fake profiles and fake pictures of popular actresses for promotions.
One such incident happened in a dating app that promises sex on the go which is creating an alarming situation now. In that app, there are pictures of an actress who starred in Bahubali all over the screen and tabs that made her upset big time.
That unlucky lady is Ashrita Vemuganti. She played the role of Anushka’s Vadina in Baahubali 2 movie and did dancing in the “Kanna Nidurinchara” song too. She has later appeared in Yaatra movie as YS Vijayamma.
Recently, a shady dating app kept her picture as the profile picture for wider promotions and that app went viral instantly. The traffic of that app and posts regarding its popularity shocked the actress who is unaware of this happening. Ashrita is said to be contemplatingly going the legal route and approached cyber crime police to take action on those dating apps.
The pictures of many other popular actresses are also being used by many other apps that are under the limelight and stringent laws should be placed to prevent such malpractices.
