Former Delhi MLA Manjinder Singh Sirsa has lodged an FIR with the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) against Bollywood entertainers found in a 2019 dated viral video taken at producer Karan Johar’s party. The minister has encouraged the NCB Chief Rakesh Asthana to explore the issue and guaranteed that it will bring the truth to light concerning the conspiracy behind passing of Sushant Singh Rajput.
In an announcement to the media, Sirsa said that he had documented an objection about this video with Mumbai police a year ago – on August 1, 2019 – however the police had neglected to start the interrogation. He iterated that he sent his complaint through speed post and sent a few updates too.
Sharing his letter to NCB chief Rakesh Asthana, Sirsa said that he met with him and asked him to launch an investigation into the video. “I met Sh. Rakesh Asthana, Chief of @narcoticsbureauat BSF head quarter, Delhi regarding submission of complaint for investigation & action against film Producer @karanjohar & others for organizing drug party at his residence in Mumbai. That party video must be investigated into!” he penned.
The screenshots of the letter revealed apparently that actors Deepika Padukone, Vicky Kaushal, Malaika Arora, Varun Dhawan, Arjun Kapoor, and Shahid Kapoor who were captured while partying in the video to have consumed drugs. He urged the NCB to investigate for consumption, possession, and allowing premises for commission of offenses’.
