Story:

What are those peculiar things, forms the rest of the plotline.

On-screen performances:

Vishwak Sen did his part quite convincingly in the boy-next-door character. His makeover as a small town guy is impressive and adds authentic texture to the proceedings.

Heroine Rukshar Dhillon is cute on screen and did her extended cameo role nicely. New girl Ritika Nayak did her purposeful role in an impressive manner. Her acting in the crucial second half is a major plus for the film.

All other artists who played the family members of both side did their part perfectly.

Off-screen talents:

Jay Krish’s music is good as his background and all the situational songs carry the mood of the film.

The cinematography by Pavi K Pavan is superb as he showcased the entire film on a beautiful manner. Editing by Viplav Nyshadam is fine.

Director Vidyasagar Chinta’s idea of making a film that revolves around a marriage story of 33-years-old guy. Though his treatment has a few dull moments in the first half, the proceedings in the second half make the film a decent watch.

Positive Points:

  • Love track between Vishwak Sen and second heroine
  • Premises

Negative Points:

  • A few dull moments in the first half
  • Lack of proper detailing about Rukshar Dhillon’s role

Verdict:

In an overview, Ashoka Vanamlo Arjuna Kalyanam is a comedy coated love and family drama that has decent second half. If you ignore the dull moments in the first half, it will end up as a one-time watch.
