#ArrestKohli trends after his fan murder Rohit’s fan

In a shocking incident, a Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) supporter and fan of former Indian skipper Virat Kohli killed his friend, who happens to be a fan of current Indian captain Rohit Sharma.

Going into details, this unfortunate incident happened in Tamil Nadu when S Dharmaraj and P Vignesh of Poyyur village in Ariyalur district had a drunken brawl over who was a better cricketer.

“Both had consumed liquor. As per the investigation, Vignesh was supporting Mumbai Indians in IPL while Dharmaraj was a Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) supporter. During their debate, both mocked each other. Dharmaraj, who was infuriated, attacked Vignesh with a bottle and later hit him with a cricket bat on the head,” Keelapalur police said.

As this incident was in the media, a section of people blamed Kohli for the incident and started trending ‘#ArrestKohli’ on Twitter.
