AP SEC writes a letter to CS on removal of Jagan photos due to election code

State Election Commissioner Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar recently wrote another letter to Chief Secretary of AP, Adityanath Das.

The letter said that as the election code was in force in the state, CM YS Jaganmohan Reddy should remove the photos on the caste certificates and no-objection certificates issued by the government at this time.

State Election Commissioner Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar said that the presence of CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s photo on the NOCs and the caste certificates issued by the tehsildars to the candidates was against the electoral code.

SEC directed the chief secretary to issue directions to the tehsildars to this effect.

Similarly, SEC has directed Chief Secretary Adityanath Das to take immediate action on the issuance of caste certificates and NOCs.
