Jagan government has filed a House motion petition in the High Court against the directions given by the Election Commission on the door-to-door ration scheme, which will start from February 1.
The petition sought permission to implement the house-to-house ration scheme in AP.
The High Court heard a petition filed by the government to this effect. The High Court ordered that the program should be conducted subject to the rules of the election code.
The High court ordered that the scheme be carried out without the intervention of political parties and leaders.
It also indicated to contact the SEC within 2 days with the complete scheme details.
