AP Health dept issues alert on H3N2 influenza virus!!

The H3N2 virus is spreading rapidly in India. Many people got affected by this new virus, Hongkong flu H3N2, in recent times. Doctors say Hongkong flu is influenza caused by the H3N2 virus. As per the reports, 2 people died in India due to this flu fever. One of them is from Haryana, and the other is from Karnataka.

Although there were minimal cases initially, the virus is spreading rapidly across the country. Currently, 90 cases of the H3N2 virus have been confirmed across India Similarly, eight cases of the H1N1 virus were also reported.

A wide range of fever cases are being reported in India. Most of them are flu fever caused by the H3N2 virus. These flu cases have been increasing exponentially over the last two months. The notable symptoms of this virus are cough, fever, sore throat, respiratory problems, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhoea.
