The AP government, which had filed petitions in the Supreme Court seeking annulment of several judgments passed by the AP High Court, has now approached challenging the High court verdict on insider trading in AP.
On June 29, the AP govt filed a petition in the Supreme Court challenging the High court judgement. On January 20, the High court ruled judgment that there was no insider trading in the purchase of Amravati lands. The High court dismissed the FIR registered by the AP CID officials alleging that insider trading happened in Amaravati lands. AP CID officials filed cases under various sections on former ministers of the previous government. After more than 5 months, now, the YCP govt approached Supreme Court challenging the PA High court verdict.
