AP government accepts bankruptcy

For several months now, the opposition parties of Andhra Pradesh, including the TDP and other parties, have been talking about the poor state of AP’s finances, and the way the AP government isn’t able to control the situation.

The AP government has been denying the situation until now, but YSRCP MP Bharat has said in the Lok Sabha today that AP’s financial position is terrible, so much so that it is not able to pay the salaries of the state government employees. The YSRCP MP asked the Central Government to step in and save the day for the YSRCP government, and for the Andhra Pradesh state.

Members of the TDP sprung into action at this, taking full advantage of the situation. TDP MPs K.Rammohan Naidu and K.Ravindra Kumar said that they have been requesting the Centre to look into AP’s financial position since May 2019, and have been requesting the Centre to spring into action for quite some time now. It is now to be seen what will happen hereafter.
