AP capital change: Jagan to face heat from all sides!

After YSRCP leader Botsa Satyanarayana has hinted that there would be a possible shift of AP capital from Amaravati to any other part of the state, the issue has ignited a huge political debate among the political parties.

Since the formation of the YSRCP government in the state, there was not even a single move or statement about the capital city of AP. Adding to it, the ruling party also stopped the construction works of Amaravati, hinting that there is going to be a major decision about the capital.

As expected, Botsa said that Amaravati and the surrounding areas have more chances to get affected by the floods quite often and even the construction cost will be higher than other parts of the state. TDP leaders severely went against Botsa and the YSRCP government and there were however counter replies from the ruling party too.

But now, even the BJP seems is not happy with the latest update of the YSRCP government. The AP BJP leaders hinted that the Centre would intervene in the issue, as it contributed its part in the construction of the capital city in Amaravati, by releasing the funds.

The things between BJP and YSRCP, already went uglier, after AP CM Jagan went forward with the re-negotiation of PPAs and reverse tendering of the Polavaram National Irrigation Project. Now if Jagan continues to go against the BJP, and move forward with choosing some other place as the capital city, then the things are expected to turn much worse.

Adding to it, several farmers offered their lands to the government in Naidu’s regime and at this point of time, if Jagan moves ahead with changing the capital city, it will be considered as an ego satisfying decision against TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu, and thus may result into the severe backfire from the farmers and also the normal public, against the ruling party.
