It has been quite a while since Anushka was last seen on the big screens. The senior actress is finally putting an end to the long wait as she recently signed a film which will be produced by UV Creations.
This as-yet-untitled project will be officially announced soon. It is billed to be a new-age romantic comedy and in-form actor Naveen Polishetty plays the male lead in the film.
As said by a source, Anushka is presently undergoing a physical makeover for her role in the film. She is sweating it out in the gym and shedding a few kilos.
Anushka will be seen in a leaner look in the Naveen Polishetty starrer and she is working on getting into the right shape now.
UV Creations are planning to take the project onto the floors once the Covid curve flattens. More details about the project will be unveiled in the days to follow.
