TDP recently had to face a setback after four of its Rajya Sabha MPs have left the party. Even before coming out of the shock, now another major leader of the party, Ambika Krishna is all set to join BJP.
Ambika Krishna has recently stepped down as chairman of Film, Television and Theatre Development Corporation (FDC). Since NTR’s time, he had a long association with TDP and was also instrumental in getting several film celebrities into the party, among whom Divyavani is the latest.

Ambika Krishna started his film career as an exhibitor, and went on to become distributor & producer over the time. He also served as Chairman and Managing Director at Ambica Agarbathies. He is likely to fly to New Delhi tonight and will may join BJP at party headquarters tomorrow.
Losing the people who have long associations with the party, is something that TDP should take it seriously and work on it. Otherwise, it would boost the other senior leaders to leave the party and thus situation gets even more worse.
