Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas’s Bollywood debut was on cards since long time. Few of the dubbed Telugu movies of the actor into Hindi was well received in the rural North Indian market and garnered considerably good collections too.
To scale up his market a little more, Sai Srinivas is eyeing to foray into Hindi film industry with the Hindi remake of ‘Chatrapathi’. It was known that original Telugu film director- Rajamouli hesitated to direct it. Currently, Senior Telugu director VV Vinayak, who launched Bellamkonda Srinivas as a hero in Telugu with ‘Alludu Srinu’ will once again helm this project.
Reports earlier surfaced that gorgeous lady Kiara Advani was considered for the film, followed by Disha Pathani and Shraddha Kapoor. The makers are said to have approached aforementioned big actors to rope in as the female lead for this much awaited project. However, things seem to have not materialised. Now, sources reveal that the production house is in talks with dainty beauty Ananya Pandey to grab a deal and hearsay is that an attractive package was also offered as her remuneration.
Ananya, who is staring opposite Vijay Devarkonda for his Bollywood debut ‘Liger’ is busy shooting for the film and still seem have not signed the dotted line. Official confirmation from the production is awaited.
