‘Uppena’, starring Vaishnav Tej and Krithi Shetty, was released ahead of Valentine’s Day amid huge expectations and acquired a mixed talk from the audience as well as critics. On its opening day, the Buchi Babu Sana’s film collected an impressive Rs 9.17 crore. On days 2, 3 and 4, the film amassed Rs 6.86 crore, Rs 8.01 crore and Rs 4.13 crore respectively from the Telugu states.
Despite a drop of almost 50% on Monday, the weekday, Uppena seemed to be a super solid with a share of 4 crores and continued its noise and registered 3 crore shares on Tuesday.
