BJP leader Vishnuvardhan Reddy falsely tweeted that the altar of Kadiri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple Anantapur district was being removed as part of the expansion of roads.
Anantapur District Collector in-charge Dr. Siri condemned the false propaganda made by Vishnuvardhan Reddy. She clarified that there was no mention of removing the altar of Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple, which has a history of thousands of years.
She exposed the BJP leader’s false propaganda on the altar along with evidence.
Dr. Siri warned that false news should not be spread and that strict action should be taken if anyone does so.
She warns that we are being very strict about spreading false news. She said the government was trying hard to preserve temples that have a historical background.
