Inside Story: Alludu Adhurs – A mixture of two hit films

The trailer of Bellamkonda Srinivas‘s Alludu Adhurs which was unveiled recently hinted that the film is a blend of action, comedy, and horror elements.

Apparently, the director, Santosh Srinivas has clubbed the concepts of two hit films to churn out Alludu Adhurs.

We are hearing that Alludu Adhurs is a mix of Kandireega and Raghava Lawrence’s Kanchana. While the basic plot of the film is close to that of Kandireega, the horror elements and related comedy are largely inspired from Kanchana.

Santosh Srinivas tried to play it safe by blending two hit formulas namely, action and horror comedy.

The trailer showed that the male lead Bellamkonda Srinivas is possessed by a feminine ghost and this is something that we have seen in Lawrence’s Kanchana franchise.

There are two love tracks in the film and the male lead confronts the father of one of the female leads. This plot was previously used in Santosh Srinivas’s Kandireega.

Now, it is very much evident that Alludu Adhurs is a mixture of two hit films. It remains to be seen if this formula will work in favour of Alludu Adhurs or not.
