Akhil Akkineni, who currently awaits the release of his romantic comedy Most Eligible Bachelor, has teamed up with filmmaker Surender Reddy for his next outing, titled ‘Agent’.
The shooting of the film, which was supposed to begin in April this year, has been halted due to the second wave of Covid-19.
The latest update is that Kannada actor Upendra is going to appear in a key role in this film. As per reports, the makers have approached the ace actor, and they got an initial nod from him.
Upendra had earlier acted in Allu Arjun starrer Son of Sathyamurthy. He will next feature in Varun Tej’s sports drama ‘Ghani’. An official confirmation will come soon regarding the inclusion of Upendra in Agent.
The film, which will be bankrolled by Anil Sunkara, marks the first collaboration of Surender Reddy and Akhil.
