Allu Arjun in sandalwood smuggling-related movie with Sukumar

Allu Arjun is all set to act in an interesting project directed by Sukumar. Sukumar who has given a blockbuster with Rangasthalam recently is prepping up with an interesting story-line for Allu Arjun. As per the latest reports, it is believed that this movie is to revolve around Sandalwood mafia which has been one of the most problematic issues in South India.

Being bankrolled under Mythri Movie Makers, Sukumar had plans to rope in Mahesh Babu for this movie. But, Mahesh Babu who had creative differences with Sukumar pulled himself out of this project. After minute changes in the script, Allu Arjun is all set to play the protagonist in this ‘Smuggling’ backdrop movie.

Tentatively titled as ‘AA20′, this movie is to get on the floors soon. Allu Arjun is currently busy shooting for his upcoming movie under Trivikram Srinivas’ direction. Being made under Haarika Haasinee Creations, the shooting is going on with full swing.

This would be the third time the duo (Allu Arjun, Sukumar) is to collaborate. The Arya series- Arya and Arya-2 had brought a huge craze to both Allu Arjun and Sukumar. So, there are a lot of speculations and hopes pinned on this project. It is expected that the movie team might come up with an announcement soon, as Allu Arjun is to celebrate his birthday on 8th April.

Allu Arjun’s last two movies DJ and Naa Peru Surya had given him a bitter experience, as both, the movies did not do well at the box-office for whatever the reasons. So, Allu Arjun had also announced that he would be back after a brief break before he announced his movie under Trivikram Srinivas’ direction.

Termed as Telugu’s stylish star Allu Arjun has a colossal following down the South. His movies are celebrated even in Kerala, as he has earned a decent following among the Malayalam viewers.
