It is known that Akhil Akkineni’s upcoming film ‘Agent’ is gearing up to hit the screens on the 12th of August this year. However, the latest buzz is that the much-awaited film may not release on the above mentioned date.
The latest reports suggest that the film might be heading for Dasara season release. Delay in the shooting part is said to be the reason for the postponement of the release date. However, there is no official word on this news yet.
Director Surender Reddy is helming this film. Agent has Malayalam superstar Mammootty playing a powerful role, wherein debutante Sakshi Vaidya will be seen as the female lead. Hip Hop Tamizha has been roped in to compose the music while Vakkantham Vamsi has provided the story. Agent is being produced by Ramabrahmam Sunkara under AK Entertainments and Surender 2 Cinema.
