Amidst rumors that Prabhas’s Adipurush might get postponed, the makers of Akhil Akkineni’s Agent announced that the film will be releasing for next Sankranthi season.
But the latest we hear is that Agent will also not be releasing next Sankranthi. The fight is only between Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna. The delay in the shoot and the need to reshoot a few episodes is said to be the reason behind Agent’s postponement.
Chiru’s Waltair Veerayya and Balayya’s Veera Simha Reddy will releasing next Sankrathi and there will no other Telugu biggie lined up for release.
It is almost confirmed that Adipurush and Agent are out of Sankranthi race as senior stars Chiru and Balayya take the center stage.
Then there’s the dubbed film, Varasudu, featuring Tamil superstar Vijay. This will be the other mainstream release.
