Piracy is one of the most serious problems, the film industry is unable to get rid of, since long. While leaking the entire film, by shooting it in the theaters with cameras is one type of piracy, there were times when the entire film was out into the internet, even before the official release of it. Pawan Kalyan’s Attharintiki Daredi falls under the second category.
Later, a few of the industry people have started leaking the entire film script on the social media, before the movie release. Earlier, Jaya Kumar an assistant director of Ram Gopal Varma, who came out of his ‘Company’, has leaked the scripts of ‘God Sex Truth’ and also ‘Officer’ on Twitter. As there was no great buzz for the movies, the issue has remained on a low profile.
But in the latest, Puri Jagannadh’s most anticipated movie iSmart Shankar had to face similar troubles. A netizen on Instagram has uploaded a part of the movie script on the photo sharing site and threatened Puri Jagannadh to leak the entire script, if the director refuses to satisfy his financial demands.
Shocked over this, Ravi Kumar, who works in Puri Connects, the production house of Puri Jagannadh, has filed a complaint against the Instagram page admin Murali Krishna. The culprit after being caught, has claimed that he extracted the script from a website.
iSmart Shankar is up for the release on July 12th. Charmmee and Puri are jointly producing the film that has Ram Pothineni and Nidhhi Agerwal as the lead couple.
