Citing personal reasons, Ravela Kishore Babu has resigned to Janasena Party today and sent the resignation letter to the party office.
Ravela has resigned to MLA post and also to TDP and joined in Janasena before the general elections. He was also offered an MLA ticket from Prathipadu constituency, but had to lose in the election to YSRCP candidate Mekathoti Sucharitha. Shockingly, Ravela had to settle in third position in the constituency as TDP candidate Dokka Manikya Varaprasad was in second place.
It seems, the miserable victory from Janasena has made Ravela feel insulted. Adding to it, as the new party was restricted to a single seat and the party chief itself has lost in both the constituencies he contested, Ravela might not have found any future for Janasena in AP politics. So just like Addepalli Sridhar who left Janasena, even Ravela joined the list, after getting disappointed with the party.
It is not new for Ravela to ditch the parties, if he fails to get the post he desired. During the TDP cabinet shuffling in the past, Ravela has lost his minister post and since then, he was disappointed with the party and was away from discharging his duties as an MLA.
But he later met Pawan Kalyan and joined in Janasena. He was considered as one of the trusted leaders of the new party and also a close associate of Pawan Kalyan. So, his exit from the party is worrying a few key leaders of Janasena.
The Janasena Chief however mentioned in the past that he is never bothered about those who are leaving the party, as he always wished to have people who is willing to travel with him for long, without expecting anything.
