Actress Meena’s husband Vidyasagar passes away

In a shocking development, much-acclaimed actress Meena’s husband Vidyasagar, passed away earlier today in Chennai due to a severe lung infection.

As per reports, Vidyasagar suffered lung-related ailments that were made worse by a recent Covid-19 infection. The Bengaluru-based businessman was under treatment for the lung infection for the last few months. But, the doctors couldn’t save him as the Covid-19 infection had worsened his already existing lung disease, which he got inhaling air infected by pigeon droppings.

Meena, who started her career as a child artiste in movies and became one of the most sought after heroines during the nineties, married Vidyasagar in 2009. The couple have a daughter Nainika, who played Thalapathy Vijay’s daughter in ‘Theri’.

The tragic news came as a shock to everyone. Meena’s friends, fans and well-wishers are expressing their condolences and extending their support to the griefstricken family.
