Actor Navadeep attacked for supporting students

Many have come in favor of all the students of Andhra Pradesh, who have to appear to write their board exams in the coming days. No matter what, and no matter how exponentially the cases of Coronavirus are rising in Andhra Pradesh, the YSRCP government seems the least bit bothered about the prospect of the virus spreading about students, and is more interested in conducting the exams.

No matter who is staging protests, and no matter how many are opposing the decision, the YSRCP government is going ahead with its decision. Very recently, popular actor Navadeep came in support of these children, saying that many reached out to him and told him how many students were affected by Coronavirus during their practical exams, and how they’re scared that the situation will be a lot worse if they have to write board exams now. Navadeep said that the government should keep the best interest of these children at heart, and should cancel or at least postpone the exams.

Navadeep was assaulted by words on social media, by those people who are ardent supporters of the Jagan government. They called Navadeep derogatory names and even asked if these children to resort to drugs like him, by not writing exams.

This is not the first time that supporters of the AP government verbally assaulted someone. It has become a common practice in Andhra Pradesh to carry out such kind of assaults towards who so ever challenges or questions the government’s decision. It is sad to see that the government is more concerned about marks on a certificate than on the lives of the children who will write exams.
