The leaders of the opposition are alleging that people from other constituencies came to Tirupati to cast fake votes in the recent Tirupati by-polls.
Telugu Desam Party is alleging that the YCP arranged fake voters in the Tirupati by-election. However, they are being repulsed by YCP leaders.
Speaking to media in Amravati, TDP AP president Achennaidu challenged, “Will YCP chief and leaders would promise in the premises of Tirumala Venkateswaraswamy temple that they were not involved in this?”
Achennaidu lamented that the YCP had done this with the fear that the TDP would win this election. Achennaidu demanded that the Tirupati by-election be canceled and re-polling should be held.
He alleged that the state police were working in favor of the YCP. He outraged as to why the DGP has not arrested those who came to cast fake votes.
