Exclusive: Ace producer’s son debut on hold once again!

As indicated by the information from the grapevine, ace producer DVV Danayya got director Sriwaas on board to launch his son Kalyan Dasari.
The director obliged and worked on a script for few months during the lockdown. Sriwaas is believed to have so much interest on the plot as it developed into an impressive script. He thought it would be apt for Kalyan’s launch as a hero.

Hearsay is that, DVV took special care for the film and didn’t compromise in film that would impress everyone. However, creative differences creeped in among the producer and director. Reportedly, the project is now on hold and Danayya is opting for another director.

Well, the producer’s struggle to launch his son has began since long time. Earlier he approached director Maruthi owing to his lucky charm in bringing success to the debut films of new actors, but it was shelved. The producer later even bought hindi film Ishaqzaade remake rights but that too end up in damp squib.

DVV Danayya is currently producing the magnum opus RRR, which is being helmed by Rajamouli.
