Tollywood’s Super Star Mahesh Babu is all set to appear as ‘Rishi’ in his upcoming flick titled ‘Maharshi’. With the hottest actress Pooja Hegde as the female lead opposite Mahesh Babu, this movie also stars Allari Naresh in one of the lead roles.
It is a known fact that the makers were having a hard time with the business deals regarding Maharshi. The latest reports suggest that a decent deal has been set for Maharshi by the makers. Banking on Mahesh Babu alone the movie’s business has been set for 90 crores.
Coming to the satellite rights Maharshi, it has made 14.5 Crores. The digital rights of Maharshi have been locked for 11 Crores. Apart from this, the Hindi dubbing rights of Maharshi has been locked for 20 Crores.
The overseas rights of Maharshi have been locked for 12.5 crores too. So, it seems like Maharshi has done decent pre-release business.
As Mahesh Babu’s previous movies did not do well at the box-office, it was expected that the pre-release market would have an impact. Mahesh Babu’s Brahmotsavam and Spyder utterly failed at the theaters causing huge losses to the buyers and distributers.
