After a massive debacle in the elections, a few internal fights in TDP are further worsening the party in AP. Especially, the things got worse between Vijayawada MP Kesineni Nani and ex-minister Devineni Uma Maheshwara Rao. Even TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu, who tried to resolve the issue, had failed in convincing the duo.
Both Nani and Uma belongs to the same caste called ‘Kamma’. But the former is now in power and also enjoys a good image in his constituency. But Uma on the other side, has lost in the recent elections and even lacks behind the popularity of Nani.
So Nani is not in a mood to take suggestions from Uma, when the latter tried to give few. This irritated Uma and gradually it resulted into a tiff created differences among both.
One of the TDP leaders, who requested anonymity, has revealed that when Devineni was a minister, Nani had to compromise on several issues, respecting the superior position of Uma. So as the latter lost in the elections and Nani was reelected, it seems, the MP is now playing a reverse game against the ex minister.
Adding to it, if at all the new government of AP, digs out the corrupt activities of Devineni in a few of the projects he was involved in earlier, then the ex minister will have to face worst consequences, the reports say.
On the other side, a few of the close circles also reveal that Nani financially supported Uma for his victory in the 2014 elections, but Uma tried to defeat Nani in the recent elections. This was also one of the reasons for the disturbances between the duo.
If at all Kesineni Nani who is trying to quit TDP, joins BJP, then the ex minister will have to face more troubles from the MP, is what the reports conclude.
