Senior hero, Mohan Babu has been staying away from movies for a while now. He was last seen in Gayatri which released back in 2018.
The latest we hear is that Mohan Babu might be making a comeback with the Telugu remake of critically acclaimed Malayalam film, Android Kunjappan Ver 5.25.
Mohan Babu who was very much impressed with the Malyalam comedy drama had acquired the remake rights of the film. He is planning to play the lead role in the remake and will be kick-starting the pre-production works soon.
Android Kunjappan is the story of an ageing father who develops a good bonding with a robot that is gifted to him by his son who stays in Russia. The film was released last year and was a big hit. Now, Mohan Babu is all set to star in the Telugu remake of the film.
The director and the lead cast of the project will be locked soon and an official announcement will be made accordingly.
