Tye second outing from KGF franchise, KGF: Chapter 2 will commence shoot from the 26th of August. All the remaining portion except for the climax fight will be shot in this prolonged schedule. This schedule is being planned in and around Bengaluru, Karnataka.
The makers of KGF 2 are hoping that Sanjay Dutt will join the the sets by November. He will soon be undergoing chemotherapy after he was diagnosed with lung cancer.
If Sanjay Dutt recovers in the 3-month span and is able to start shooting for the film then it’s all well and good for KGF 2. If that is not possible, they are planning to shoot the climax portion with Sanjay Dutt’s body double. These sequences will later be digitally modified by the VFX team in order to make it look authentic.
The producers of the Yash starrer are hoping to release the film during next Sankranthi season as they wish to cash in on the holiday season. That is, of course, if theaters are re-opened by then.
KGF 2 has Prashant Neel at the helm. Bollywood stars Sanjay Dutt and Raveena Tandon are playing key roles in the film.
