After witnessing a thumping victory in Malkajgiri constituency as an MP, Revanth Reddy was identified to be a strong opponent of TRS. There were several instances in the past, where the firebrand leader went against Telangana Chief Minister KCR. This made the Telangana government eye on Revanth Reddy and worked for his defeat in the assembly polls.
But shockingly, as Revanth won as an MP in Lok Sabha elections, TRS is finding it tough with his victory. There were rumors that the firebrand leader is planning to shift to another party from Congress, for his political growth.
But Revanth Reddy denied all such rumors saying that he is not going to leave Congress party. He said that he lived up to the expectations of the party and President Rahul Gandhi, with his victory. The ex-TDP leader also said that he will pitch for Rahul Gandhi’s leadership.
After TDP isolation, TRS targets, and defeat in Kodangal, Revanth Reddy’s political career was touted to be ended. But shockingly, as he won as an MP now, his presence in Congress is much needed for the party, as there is no other leader from the national party like him, who could raise voice against the massive TRS in Telangana.
