Revanth Reddy who shockingly lost as an MLA from Kodangal constituency in Telangana Assembly elections, emerged victorious as an MP from Malkajgiri.
Probably, Reddy is the only leader in both the Telugu states, who constantly went against Telangana government and criticized KCR leaving no opportunity.
Now, speaking after the victory as an MP, the firebrand leader said, “KCR is treating Telangana as his kingdom and that is the reason for the people, to go against the party in Lok Sabha elections. It is a jolt from the Telanganiites to both KCR and KTR.”
He further said that he would live up to the expectations of the public and serve as a good MP.
“Serving Malkajgiri will be first in the list of my priorities. I will raise voice in Parliament for the bifurcation rights. Students played a key role in the formation of Telangana and the same students were the reason for my victory too.”
Revanth Reddy promised to raise the voice in Parliament, demanding for the national projects in Telangana, railway coach factory establishment, steel factory, tribal university in Khammam and a few other such issues. He assured to develop Malkajgiri as another Noida.
There were several forces that worked against Revanth Reddy and led to his defeat in Kodangal. But Reddy winning as an MP, that too in a big constituency like Malkajgiri, is now being treated as his befitting reply to the TRS.
