If TDP is not comfortable with any leader in the party, indirectly hinting him to move out, is one strategy, the party has been implementing since long. While this strategy has worsened the position of TDP, the impact of supporting media is another reason for the miserable position of Naidu’s party in Andhra Pradesh.
Getting into the details, Lanka Dasari Prasad Rao, one of the senior leaders of TDP, has worked as municipal chairman of Gudivada. A young leader from TDP is trying to send Rao out of the party and his attempts were found to be fruitful.
Not only TDP, Rao also has good relations with other party leaders too. His friendly nature made even a YSRCP leader like Kodali Nani meet him to discuss about the development of the constituency. But Rao instead suggested Nani that the meet of the duo would send wrong signals among the political circles.
On the other side, TDP leader Devineni Avinash who lost to Kodali Nani recently, has joined hands with TDP leader Pulavarthi and targeted Rao and thus succeeded in playing strategies and get him suspended from TDP.
Aggrieved over this, Rao then met TDP leader Devineni Umamaheshwara Rao and explained everything. Rao was shocked to see Uma maintaining silence, when the former questioned, “how did it happen, without your intervention?”
Meanwhile, the TDP leaders have created a rumor that Rao is planning to quit the party. As the senior leader is not even getting an opportunity to meet Naidu and express his grief, Rao’s political career has now fallen into a deep dilemma.
A few of his followers had suggested Rao to quit TDP, opining that the party is not bothered about those who work hard. Left with no option, Rao is expected to take a key decision in a day or two. If it turns true, then it would be a tight jolt to TDP in Gudivada constituency.
