Popular Television news reporting Channel TV5 rubbished all the rumors that are circulating around about their media house. They denied the reports that are published that TV5 is going to change hands shortly. Earlier, many columns evolve that TV5 management is looking to sell the channel to a major firm in Dubai after a failed negotiation with a local Pharma Firm.
Regarding this news, a public notice issued by P V G Umesh Chandra on behalf of TV5 news channel said, “We from TV5 would like to assert here that the articles published on the platforms are sham, ill-motivated, spurious and intended to undermine the reputation of TV5 Telugu News Channel and we further aver that there is not even a shred of truth in that impugned article,”
In many articles, the TV5 was mentioned as it is well known for its pro-Telugu Desam Party stand. This seems to have irked the management more than the news. Of course, there are no mala fide intentions that appeared in those articles, and none has made any derogatory or defamatory comments on the channel or its management.
TV5 is one of the largest media firms in both Telugu states and has been competing with some big media houses like TV9, Sakshi, and NTV over years. So, it is clear that they don’t want to sell any of their shares to any firm at any cost.
