Despite the rampant spread of corona virus , many of the public services and duties from the administration resumed of late. After partial lift of strict regulations, innumerable cases spiked creating much havoc in the people. Recently the virus began to transmit not only in the community and common crowd but also into the public service representatives, government officials and other employees. However, proper measures are yet to be taken by the administraton to put a check to it.
The officers and staff at Banjarahills Police Station in Hyderabad are presently performing out a total of 150 duties. Out of them, 50 have been tested for novel coronavirus. 15 police authorities at the Police Station were found to be infected with coronavirus. While 10 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus in the past, five more are tested positive for covid-19 today. Five new cases cropped up on Friday after a sub-inspector and nine constables diagnosed positive on Thursday. SI, two constables and two homeguards have been confirmed that they are infected with the corona virus. The doctors suggested that everyone should be in self-quarantine for 14 days.
On the other hand, DGP Mahender Reddy issued a notice to the police in Telangana with coronary symptoms to quit working till they recuperate and self isolate at home.
