Last week, the COVID-19 cases in Telangana state were being registered in single digits and KCR said that they are on a verge to become Corona free state but all of a sudden, for the past four days there has been a drastic increase in the number of cases.
On average above 95% of the registered cases hail from the GHMC region but the strict lockdown couldn’t control the damage whatsoever in the capital city of the state.
This all about 23 members at an Apartment in Hyderabad who were testing positive for the dreadful COVID-19 virus. Going into details, a software engineer who resides in an Apartment in the Madannapet of Santosh Nagar hosted a party on his birthday and he invited many of his neighbors for the party.
The sudden hop in the cases is due to those people who attended the birthday party without following the lockdown norms and social distancing rules and it is quite shocking to witness this incident from the educated people in the center of the city.
So, Madannapet was immediately declared as a Containment Cluster with the sudden rise of the cases. The Health officials have tested 50 samples and out of them, 23 were tested positive for the virus. It all started with a family testing positive for the virus and the virus got spread to the Software employee that resulted in severe damage.
