The stars often fail to analyze or predict the future of the movies when they are first approached to act in them. Here is a list of the movies our stars have rejected but resulted to be wrong in judging on the outcome.
1. Arjun Reddy
Being termed as the trendsetter like Shiva, Arjun Reddy created ripples in Tollywood. Actor Sharwanand who is known for his prowess in acting was approached to act as Arjun Reddy, but the hero rejected the offer as he feared the role was too bold for him. Vijay Deverakonda accepted the role and the rest is the history!!!!
2. Simhadri
Helmed by SS Rajamouli, Simhadri movie’s story was written by his father Vijayendra Prasad. Vijayendra Prasad had Balakrishna Nandamuri in his mind for this story. But, Ntr was roped in to act in Simhadri which became an industry hit. Also, Ntr got huge appreciation along with a colossal following after this movie.
3. Shankar’s Gentleman
Tamil movie Gentleman which was dubbed into Telugu marks the first movie for the sensational director Shankar. Shankar wanted to rope in Rajashekhar for this role, but Action king- Arjun had this opportunity written in his fate.
It is also to be noted that the movie Tagore (Telugu) was supposed to star Rajashekhar in the lead role but, Chiranjeevi bagged the offer later.
4. The list of movies Pawan Kalyan rejected
Power Star Pawan Kalyan who rose to be one of the biggest stars in Telugu has rejected so many movies which later turned out to be good hits. The list of the movies Pawan Kalyan rejected include Amma Nanna O Tamilammayi, Idiot, Athadu, Mirapakay, etc.

5. Baahubali
Can you even imagine Baahubali without Prabhas? But, the makers apparently had a Bollywood hero in their minds for Baahubali first. But, keeping their market and business in mind, the makers had Prabhas roped in to play Baahubali. And, they don’t regret the decision probably.
5. Pawan Kalyan’s Tholi Prema
Tholi Prema will remain a classic for Pawan Kalyan’s fans. But, do you know that director Karunakaran wanted to rope in Sumanth for this movie?
Well, whatever happens, is the best!
6. Venkatesh’s Chanti
Victory Venkatesh is known for his energetic performances in his movies. The movie Chanti in which he has acted in a role with full of innocence brought him huge praises.
But, actor Rajendra Prasad was supposed to act in this movie at first.
7.Bhadra
Bhadra is one of the hit movies for Ravi Teja. The makers wanted to rope in Allu Arjun for this movie but, he rejected the role as he felt it doesn’t suit him.
8. List of the movies NTR rejected
Ntr who is known for his perky acting and fantastic dance moves had rejected some really good movies like Aarya, Dil, and Evadu.
