Harish Shankar last year scored hit with Gaddalakonda Ganesh which is a remake of Tamil award winning film Jigartanda. After the film’s success Harish Shankar went off the radar.
At the time of Gaddalakonda Ganesh, there are couple of rumors about Harish Shakar’s next but seems like nothing came off. After the result of DJ, Hairsh Shankar has got more than a year break which the director is disappointed at. So this time, Harish Shankar wants to make a movie at the earliest possible.
Though the director wants to work with a star hero after Gaddalakonda Ganesh’s success, all the top heroes are busy with prior commitments. It will take more than a year for any of them to become free. So currently Harish Shankar is trying for Akkineni hero for his next.
Firstly he tried for Akkineni Naga Chaitanya for his next. Even he is so busy. Currently he is busy wrapping up Love Story in the direction of Sekhar Kammula. After that he has to play a role in Nagarjuna’s Bangarraju.
Naga Chaitanya has also committed a film with Geetha Govindam director Parasuram. So the latest news is that the director has finally settled with Akkineni Akhil who is currently doing a project with Bommarillu Bhaskar. If everything goes well, Akhil – Harish Shankar project will be announced very soon.
