The special session of the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly began on the third day. Denduluru MLA Abbayya Chaudhary expressed strong displeasure over the attitude of the TDP in the Assembly before starting the debate on Raitu Bharosa.
The MLA said that the members of TDP do not want the interest of farmers to discuss. Hence they are not allowing it to considered in the meeting. He said that TDP is anti-farmer.
The MLA said that the YSRCP government had allocated more funds for agriculture in the budget. He also said that Raitu is doing more for the trust scheme than what our government said.
He also said that TDP has the most significant hand in weakening cooperatives. The TDP does not want to benefit the farmers only, and then it is opposing the welfare schemes brought for them.
The MLA said that people had not forgotten the incident of Basheerbagh, who shot farmers. Sivaramakrishnan’s committee has also termed Chandrababu’s actions as wrong. At the same time, CM Jagan not only supported the farmers, but they have also stood with them.
The MLA said that CM YS Jaganmohan Reddy had given Rs 84 crore to palm oil farmers as well as free annoying to the farmers. At the same time, the TDP party is the anti-farmer who never did any work for the farmers.
The MLA also informed that Navratnalu implemented as promised earlier. Besides, 96 thousand 662 fishermen given a pension. On the other hand, East and West Godavari districts were marginalized by TDP and never did anything for them.
