TDP leader Murali Mohan has once again occupied the headlines, for allegedly transferring the crores of money to buy the voters.
As Assembly and Lok Sabha elections in Andhra Pradesh are nearing, the contestants are trying their best in wooing the voters. While distributing the money is a regular practice of most of the political leaders, continuing the same, when two employees of Jayabheri company Nimmaluri Srihari and Aruti Pandari were trying to transfer Rs.2 crores of money, they were caught by the police at Madhapur hitech city metro railway station in Hyderabad.
Jayabheri company is owned by actor and politician Murali Mohan. It is to be remembered that his daughter-in-law Maganti Roopa is contesting as a TDP MP candidate from Rajahmundry.
During the investigation, the duo revealed that they are transferring money to hitech railway station only with the intention of distributing it to the Rajahmundry voters. The police currently took the duo into the custody.
This news is now being highlighted by Jagan’s party and his media. Most of the times, they kept saying that TDP circles are spending crores of money to win in the elections. With the latest revelations, their allegations turned out to be true.
Murali Mohan was earlier criticized for his comments on Lord Venkateswara Swamy. He allegedly said that even he belongs to Chowdary caste and should be termed as Venkanna Chowdary.
Adding to it, in another incident, Murali Mohan has faced a severe backlash when one of the videos was out in which the TDP leader was seen asking to sit in a fast, so that he can reduce his weight.
Incidents like these have damaged Murali Mohan’s reputation and so he might had convinced the TDP circles to replace him with his daughter-in-law as an MP candidate for the same Rajamundry constituency, the experts opine.
